Stress may be the most common issue people are facing in 2020. While adults have a lot of stress about the health and well-being, kids are also facing a lot of emotional and mental distractions that may create challenges in focus and concentration.
Homeschooling, partial school days, alternate days at school, or any other changes to the typical day, including wearing masks and social distancing, can create anxiety and stress for kids of all ages. To help kids focus at home, or to calm their minds and emotions, the use of essential blends from Young Living is a safe, effective, and great smelling option.
To give you the basics, I have developed a short video that helps to outline the benefits of each of the essential oil blends I recommend and use in my house with my children. While the use of these essential oils is recommended for home study times, they are also a great addition to the environment to unwind and focus for Moms and Dads as well.
As part of the Young Living KidScents line of essential oils, GeneYus helps kids to focus on the task at hand. Used in the diffuser, it creates a positive, open experience for children and adults alike, helping to limit distractions and to enhance overall learning.
The GeneYus blend includes Frankincense, Blue Cyprus, Idaho Blue Spruce, Palo Santo, Cedarwood, and Lemon Balm essential oils. All are linked to relaxing and focusing the mind while also reducing stress.
Other blends can also be used. My family loves the scent offered by the Living Oils Peace and Calming blend, which is ideal for getting rid of the stress and worries of the day.
Of course, there is also a range of other essential oil products that can be blended based on your needs and preferences. Lavender, Chamomile, Orange, Lemon, Frankincense, and Bergamot essential oils can be combined to create custom blends for any home study area.
